Record-breaking heavy rainfall and massive floods have caused untold damages to crops, infrastructure, dams, and claimed the lives of many people across Myanmar, one of the poorest countries in the world. Many bridges linking the villages or towns collapsed under the strain of a flash flood surge. Transportation has been disrupted in the affected areas. The victims are started to shelter temporarily at churches, monasteries, halls, schools and relief camps.

Chin State, Myanmar’s poorest state, has been hard hit, and thousands have evacuated their houses as flash floods and landslides continue. Many grocery stores have run out ofstock including rice.  Challenges ahead include food shortage, hunger, disease and death.

Please donate now to make a difference through a secure online fundraising website.
